OmniWatch 2D™
The OmniWatch 2D™, based on SSC3D™ technology, uses a single ring of sensors providing 360 degree coverage in a 2D horizontal plane. The device determines extremely accurate 2D angular directions of human or vehicle IR signatures. Monitoring the perimeter of a secure site is a primary application for these SSC devices. In this scenario a single cylindrical ring of sensors provides substantial situational awareness. A networked system of Omni-watch 2D devices can be established to monitor the perimeter of a high priority structure or area. If the perimeter is breached the Omni watch 2D devices will give the exact location of an intruder. This location information can be provided to additional security systems such as pan/tilt/zoom cameras. Specific areas where the Omni-watch 2D device can be implemented include: perimeter monitoring, harbor security, boarder patrol, airport security, other security applications.

The above software, writen in Lab View, provides an interface to observe and locate multiple targets. The software then provides real-time angular location. Source intensity and width are also calculated and provided to the users.
